Anne Black – Danish Porcelain & Ceramics
Anne Black is a Danish design brand creating handmade porcelain based in Copenhagen. Since 1998, ceramicist and designer Anne Black has developed collections of hooks, vases, flowerpots, cups and jewelry – all handcrafted in porcelain with a focus on simple, Scandinavian design.
The products are created in collaboration between Anne Black's studio in Copenhagen and a workshop in Vietnam, which Anne has worked with since 2005. The partnership was established with support from Danida and is built on respect for craftsmanship, fair working conditions and long-term relationships.

Craftsmanship & Production
All Anne Black porcelain is handmade. Production takes place partly in Anne Black's own studio in Copenhagen, partly in a workshop in Bat Trang, Vietnam – a collaboration that has now lasted over 20 years.
The workshop in Vietnam carries a ceramic tradition spanning eight generations. At its centre is Mrs. Hang, representing the ninth generation in her family. The collaboration with Anne Black has focused on preserving and developing hand throwing as a method – the same technique Anne uses in her Copenhagen studio.
The collaboration was established in 2005 with support from Danida under the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with a focus on sustainable development, fair working conditions and long-term employment.
