the 'black is blue' collection came into being after one of anne's first visits to the workshop in vietnam, where she discovered the workers' skills in traditional hand painting.

the series aims to express that beauty comes from within, while the name and the somewhat closed design language evoke a melancholic mood.

all pieces are hand painted with the classic blue colour made from cobalt oxide.
