update your kitchen
without replacing the cabinets

new knobs cost a fraction of new fronts. a kitchen takes fifteen to twenty-five of them, and an existing knob hole takes the furniture screw that comes with each one.

glazed, not mat

this is the choice that matters here. kitchen fronts are handled with wet hands and wiped almost as often.

mat is unglazed and more open to grease. plain, dot and flower are glazed, wipe clean, and hold their colour.

will they fit

cabinet fronts are normally drilled at 5 mm, and that is what the furniture screw takes — every knob in the smaller sizes comes with one, plus a second screw and plug for wall use. two things decide it:

  • a knob is one fixing point. a bar handle on two holes leaves one showing.
  • a very thick front, or one with a backing panel, needs a longer M5 DIN 7985.

size

s (ø 3 cm) on narrow wall-cabinet doors, m (ø 4.5 cm) on wide base drawers. l and xl are wall hooks, not for cabinet fronts.
